PEACE POSTER CHECKLIST FOR SCHOOLS/CONTESTANTS
CONTEST RULES MUST BE ADHERED TO, OR ENTRY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED BY LIONS INTERNATIONAL
THIS RULE SEEMS RATHER HARSH BUT TO ENSURE CONSISTENCY WORLD WIDE, BASIC CRITERIA MUST BE SET.
CONTESTANTS must be 11, 12 or 13 years of age as of November 15th 2025.
ART WORK
SIZE must be no smaller than 33 centimetres by 50 centimetres NOR larger than 50 centimetres by 60 centimetres.
ORIENTATION may be either portrait or landscape.
FRAMES artwork must not be framed or matted or laminated.
COLOUR. Lots of colour makes for an eye-catching poster.
MEDIA. All media accepted. Three dimensional entries NOT accepted. Nothing is to be glued, stapled or attached to the artwork in any way.
NO lettering or numbers in any language to be used on the poster.
Artist’s signature or initials must be written on the back of the poster in pencil please. (Must not show through to front)
THEME. Interpretation of the Theme is an important element of the poster competition. The theme for this year is “Together as One”. This year we are asking students to envision what can happen when a diverse group of people untie around a common cause or goal. “Imagine a world where we all come together as one.”
JUDGING CRITERIA. Originality, artistic merit and expression of the above theme.
COMPLETION DATE. Entries need to be ready for pick up on Thursday 9th October.
