History
Our club is still in it's infancy having started training the girls 6 years ago in 2018.
We operate under the One Club model which is very beneficial to camogie as we have the support of the whole club.
We started out with only about 6-8 girls at each session and now have 6 groups on the go from U6/nursery to U16 this year. In total we have about 100 girls training with us each week.
Each year we are building on the previous year and last year was probably our best year to date where we competed in all U8/U10/U12/U14 games and blitzes.
The club had an historic day in 2023 when crowned the U13 Div B County Champions. The same girls went on to win the U14 Shannon Plate Championship in the Autumn also!
Our number of coaches has also increased each year and we are happy to say that they are all fully vetted, safeguarded and trained so we can provide the best for our girls.
2024 has seen the first girls from the club joining Limerick county panels. As a club and community we are extremely proud of these girls and wish them the very best for the future. They were among the first girls in the club and what fabulous ambassadors they are! With dedication and enthusiasm abundant in the younger age groups, hopefully more will follow over the coming years.
We are a young club, building each year, promoting the game, with an emphasis on encouraging the girls to have fun playing camogie with their friends.
