No team given except those below
This match was played at the Green on Saturday and the Green were victors by 3 - 1. It was a very tame game from start to finish, as the green were pressing neatly the whole time. The Green forwards were rather weak in front of goal, with the exception of Rance who scored all three goals. The Green defence was very safe, Hill at left back and How at right, being very good. Hill occasionally came forward and had a pot at goal. The Potten End goal keeper was in good form or the Greens score would certainly have run into double figures. Seabrook, in goal for the Green only had about three shots to save during the whole of the game.

LEVERSTOCK GREEN v BOXMOOR ST JOHNS
The Green journeyed to Boxmoor on Saturday and defeated the home team by 3 – 1,
The Green only mustered eight men and were obliged to pick up two subs: they therefore had to play with ten men. The Green lost the toss, and kicked off downhill. They soon got going and were in Boxmoor quarters. Then the Saints broke away and the Green goal was in danger, but How cleared with a good kick. Perry obtained possession of the ball and put in a shot which the goal keeper failed to hold. The Green were therefore one point up early in the game. At this reverse Boxmoor went away with a dash and the Green defence had hard work keeping them out. St. Johns were still pressing when Perry having again got the ball ran down the field and put in a lovely shot which the goalie kicked at but missed. Soon after this the whistle blow for half time. The teams changed over and soon got going and the Green defence was kept very busy, but both backs were quite safe and Seabrook saved shot after shot in splendid style. The Green however had several breakaways and one of the Green subs scored point number 3. The St Johns team now began to get desperate and by a combined run down by their forwards Carpenter put in a splendid shot which gave Seabrook no chance. Soon after this the whistle blow for time and the game ended as above stated. For the Green Seabrook in goal almost impossible shots. Both backs were also very safe especially How, who kicked in grand style. Of the half backs, Sears was the pick, playing a very vigorous game. Perry was the pick of the forwards and Plowman also played very well.
The Green team was
Seabrook, Mayo, How: sub, Sears and Ingham: sub, Plowman, Perry and Thurnham.

LEVERSTOCK GREEN V HEMPSTEAD RAMBLERS
This match was played at the Green on Saturday and ended in a draw of two goals each. Among the Ramblers was “Lucky” Brinklow, Horace Brinklow. Fensome and Townsend and it was thought that the Green were in for a hot time of it. The Ramblers won the toss and elected to kick with the wind in their favour. The Green goal was soon in danger, but Hill cleared in good style. The play was very even, each side have a few pots at goal. “Lucky” and Fensome made some very good runs, but could not get near enough to shoot with any accuracy. About five minutes before half time Fensome made a dash and put in a good shot, which Seabrook failed to save. Shortly after this Plowman had the Ramblers goal at his mercy, but failed to score. At their start the Green began to get a bit more together and by good work Perry got the ball close to the Ramblers goal, but Townsend cleared. Perry who was working very hard at last had a change of which he quickly availed himself and shot, thus making the scores equal. The Ramblers were now going for all they were worth and from a good centre by Horace Brinklow, “Lucky” shot in the corner of the net. The Green now strained every effort to equalise. Plowman put in a shot that struck the post and rebounded into play. Hayes got to it and scored. After this each side tried hard to gain the lead, but were unsuccessful. For the Green Seabrook played his usual good game in goal, having no chance with the two shots that scored. Hill at left back undoubtable saved the Green from defeat, his clearances at critical times being splendid. Of the forwards Perry was the best, Plowman and Hayes playing well. The Green team was.

Harringay St, Pauls
home game the Green won 3-2
The Green played on Easter Monday Harringay St Pauls and after a very good game won by three goals to two. The St Pauls were a very clever team and played good football. From the start it looked as if the Green were in for a good licking. The Green lost the toss and kicked off with the sun in their eyes. Time after time the St Pauls forwards broke away, but could not penetrate the Green defence. The Green also had several pots at goal, none of which found the net. Half time arrived with no goals being scored. On the restart the Green forwards played with more dash and Cleveland scored the first goal. At this point the St Pauls were having quite their share of the game. Seabrook, being called upon several times to save, which he did in good style. After a scrummage in front of the Green goal Hill kicked well up the field, How obtained position and centred to Plowman who shot into the net. Ten minutes after this Turner, by a good bit of play tricked the opposition backs and shot at close range, scoring point number three. After this St Pauls were awarded a penalty, from which they scored. Just in time by a good bit of passing, they scored their second goal. Of the Green team, Seabrook brought off some very good saves. Hill at left back, kicked splendidly, and Mayo, the right back, was very safe. Of the half’s Sears played his usual dashing game. How and Turner were the pick of the forwards.
