• 1. To be able to write sentence in the imparfait  about yourself when you were a child

Language objective:

1. introduction of the Imperfect in French through talking about childhood

memories. using the imparfait with the present or the passe compose.

Imparfait

c’était:  it was :  etre     ce n’etait pas  it was not

j’avais:  I use to have / avoir        je n’avais pas  I use to not have

j’allais: I use to go / aller              je n’allais pas

nous étions:  we were  / etre 

 on travaillait:  we were working /  

on se promenait   : we were hiking          on ne se promenait pas

on écoutait: we were listening /

on chantait; we were singing,

je regardais     tu regardais   il regardait    nous regardions   vous regardiez  ils regardaient
