As a way of reaching out to students that speak other languages at your school, the school newspaper has added a column for editorials in other languages.  Since you are taking a peer leadership class and recently have been talking a lot about establishing good relationships with your peers, you have been asked to write the first editorial in French.

Since an editorial is a chance to share your opinion, include the following:

• • Your opinion about what characteristics make up a good relationship;

  • Your opinion about what characteristics make up a bad relationship;

  • What your ideal relationship is and why;

  • A description of a relationship in your life with a peer, family member or friend that you feel is a good relationship. Explain why it is good.

  • Simple advice about how to solve problems with relationships.

Be as thorough as you can.  Who knows?  Maybe if they like what you write they will begin an advice column and may ask you to write for it.
