Scenario 1

You got on your school bus the first day of school and there is a very cute new student from Port-au-Prince, Tahiti. You want to introduce yourself but you aren’t comfortable speaking French yet. You want to get his/her attention without embarrassing yourself. You decide to write him/her a note with some information about yourself.

You want to include the following:

• • the date of today

  • A greeting

  • Your name

  • how you are feeling today

  • Where you are from

• Your age

  •  your birthday

• Your phone number

  • A goodbye

Feel free to include anything else about yourself that you can already say in French.
