The clear articulation of a personal/professional mission and vision is important as a Professional Learning Leader. Below is my Mission & Vision Statement as a professional. (This presentation was done in eMaze then Screencast-o-matic for the voiceover and uploaded to YouTube.)
The Google Presentation below is for schools to begin the process of articulating a clear Mission, Vision and Goals.
Reflection:
Mission: As a Professional Learning Leader I will provide leadership and support to the faculty, staff and students in the School of Education in the fulfillment of the implementation of the Strategic Plan.
Vision: To fulfill my Mission as a Professional Learning Leader I will stay current on university initiatives, emerging educational technologies, as well as new research in the field of educational technology including our own. I will provide the faculty and staff structured workshops and professional development each semester based on best practices in Ed Tech integration as well as on the QM course design. I will provide SOE students support through structured and planned workshops on their technology integration as teachers. As a PLL I will strive to build internal and external SOE relationships to further the enhance the fulfillment of the SOE strategic plan. I will continue to build relationships with k-12 schools and promote the social justice, leadership programs and technological innovations in our SOE. As a PLL I'll strategize and make recommendations on a unified technological standard base and integration plan for the SOE.
