The LC2 program on July 31st went off very well. The session was conducted by Prof.Viswanathan from Parampara as Ms. Sharada who was originally supposed to conduct the session had some emergency at home.
There was a PPT made on the importance of our culture, heritage, practices etc., with special focus on reverence to fellow human beings and nature around us. There was a special presentation on the importance of Tulsi, giving a lot of scientific reasons as well as spiritual instances to support it. The session then focused on the importance of sharing and the importance of avoiding greed.
The children had brought something which he/she had used and would like to donate to the Austerity centre run by Parampara. Each child came up, spoke about what they were sharing and handed it over to Ms.Revathi, who represented the Austerity centre of Parampara.
Products from the Goshala run by Parampara were on display for the audience to have an idea about the other services of Parampara.
The program ended with each child being presented with a sapling of Tulsi plant.
