Remembering Maths genius, Ramanujam

LCC marked the occasion of 125th anniversary of the birth of Srinivasa Ramanujan on Apr 27th 2013 by playing the CD on Ramanujam, the maths genius. Prof. Srinivasa Rao, renowed mathematician of our country who heads the Ramanujam Institute in Chennai graced the occassion and shared information on the functioning of the Institute.
Ms Rukmini, whose great grand father was Ramanujam's class mate , shared some anecdotes about the friendship and bonding between the two.
The function was attended by the senior LCC members and many residents of Lakshmipuram too came for the screening of the CD.
