LC2 inaugurated with a bang - TalentNite is a super hit!
Residents of Lakshmipuram, Royapettah were in for a pleasant surprise on the evening of the 11th of April.
The Lakshmipuram Women’s Forum had organized a ‘Talent Nite’ for the children of the area(which numbers around 80), and had put up a dais, hired chairs and mike set and the street corner became a talent corner!
The program lasted for nearly three hours with the children in the age group 5-15 years showcasing their talent in various ways-singing, reciting, playing musical instruments, giving short speeches.
This marked the launch of the Lakshmipuram Children’s Club(LCC) named as ‘LC squared’. Nalini Ravindran spoke on behalf of the women’s forum and introduced the activities they will be conducting in the club. She said that the club will provide an opportunity to the children of the area, to get to know each other, learn through interaction with interesting personalities and also get an opportunity to hone their talents and incidentally overcome stage fear.
