Families of La Petite Ecole
Our community is made of families and children
from the United States and from all around the world.
Half of our families are bicultural with one parent speaking French at home. The other half is composed of anglophone families and francophone families.
Because most of our students are exposed to two or more languages before starting school, thanks to their family heritage or caretakers, transition into our French speaking environment is easier.
We welcome monolingual students who only speak English, French, or other language. Focus and attention are given to develop strategies for easy transition into our francophone environment.
