ATD Standard 1 (Change Management)

Candidates apply a systematic process to shift individuals, teams, and organizations from current state to desired state. Indicators:

  1. Establish sponsorship and ownership for change.
  2. Build involvement.
  3. Create a contract for change.
  4. Conduct diagnostic assessments.
  5. Provide feedback.
  6. Facilitate strategic planning for change.
  7. Support the change intervention.
  8. Encourage integration of change into organizational culture.
  9. Manage consequences.
  10. Evaluate change results.
