History: Sharpsburg is an unincorporated community in Gibson Township, Mercer County, Ohio. Built in 1889, the church and its rectory were listed together on the National Register of Historic Places as a part of the Cross-Tipped Churches of Ohio The church's stained glass chronicles the life of St. Paul. From the porch parish rectory can be seen St. Wendelin Church just three miles down the road. And interesting enough St. Wendelin is not one of the 4 churches in the care of the current pastor who serves St. Paul's, St. Joseph, Mary Help of Christians and St. Peter.

Pilgrim Pointers:

Water fountain and restroom are very convenient in the narthex as you enter.
