- Project Design, USAID, 2019
- A course designed to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools to apply their project designs in the field. Central to that knowledge will be the focus on achieving sustained outcomes through strengthening local systems. The course will provide hands-on engagement with key processes, including: understanding the context, developing theories of change and related logic models, formulating learning and monitoring plans, and designing activities that permit adaptation in response to what is learned during implementation.
- Environmental Compliance and Environmentally Sound Design & Management in Project Implementation, USAID, 2017
- An intensive, participatory, field-focused training program covering the range of topics required for environmental compliance under US laws and regulations. Topics included: environmental assessments, initial environmental examinations, mitigation, monitoring & reporting, solicitation language, climate risk management, pesticides, GMOs, non-native/potentially invasive species, and hazardous waste.
- Achieving Development Objectives Through Gender Integration, USAID, 2017
- A blended-learning course that teachings development professionals how to: reducing gender disparities, advocate for gender inclusion, conduct a gender analysis, and use gender analysis findings to thoughtfully integrate gender into project design, solicitation and award documents, project deliverables, and monitoring and evaluation.
- Contracting/Agreement Officer’s Representative (COR/AOR), USAID, 2017
- Certified as a COR/AOR, meeting USAID and USG Federal Acquisition requirements, to ensure contractors meet the commitment of their contracts. Trains participants through the continuum of planning, market research, defining government requirements, effective pre-award communications, technical analysis of proposals/applications, negotiation, effective award management and performance management.

- Includes basic definitions, shows how gender is integrated into policies, gives examples of how gender inequalities have been taken into consideration (or not) in development activities around the world in different sectors, sets out employees' responsibilities, and explains why it’s important to address gender inequality in our work.
- Higher Education Teaching Certification Program, Center for Teaching and Learning, University of Delaware, 2009-2010
- The one-year Higher Education Teaching Certification program approaches teaching as scholarly work. The four semester courses are designed primarily to enhance teaching effectiveness and to prepare students for all aspects of their future academic careers. The four primary foci of the program are: teaching pedagogy, student learning, academic jobs, and faculty roles.

- An institutional training session provided by the UD Research Office on the use of human subjects in research. The session included the following topics: The Belmont Report, federal regulations for using humans in research (45 CFR 46), the University’s Federal-wide Assurance, informed consent, and institutional procedures.
- Responsible Conduct in Research Training, University of Delaware, 2010
- The two-day workshop explored current issues in the responsible conduct of research on a wide variety of topics relating to the proper conduct of research. Session topics include Regulatory Issues in Research; Integrity, Honor, and Proper Conduct; and Ethics in Social Sciences and Humanities.
