Fellow Guardians,
Sometimes it's the small things we do that can have the biggest difference in someone's life.
On February 24th, Ken Babick will begin the next Boating Skills and Seamanship class at Tyee Yacht Club.
The time it takes to coordinate and host a 13 week class is extraordinary and a credit to Ken, Carol, Doug, Lynn and all those who support the class over the 13 week period.
Not all of us have time in our busy lives to dedicate 13 evenings at Tyee. That said, you can still make a significant difference and help support this cause.
What I'm asking of you:
I've attached 2 flyers that advertise the upcoming BS&S class. Please simply print 1 or 2 copies and post them in areas you frequent.
Be creative in where you post these. West Marine is not the only viable location.
Other ideas are:
· Bulletin boat at your local grocery store.
· Lunch rooms at work.
· Upcoming events bulletin board at your church
· Your local library
You may never know how the simple act of printing a brochure can impact another's life. For all you know, you may save a life simply by making them aware of our upcoming class.
Notes on the flyers:
BSS Flyer.pdf:
This is a standard 8.5X11" flyer with phone numbers at the bottom. Please take a moment to make cuts along the bottom so interested persons can simply tear off Ken's contact information.
BSS Trifold.pdf:
This is a tri-fold flyer and designed to be folded in thirds. It may be appropriate to give a friend or acquaintance that is interested in the class.
Thank you all for your time an dedication to boating safety!
