How did you react to the various readings? You probably didn't understand the first (unless you know French). The second, Hawaii Pidgin, was likely basically understandable, although strange and foreign. The final reading was in contemporary English. For some people, God's Word is only available in a language they don't understand or one that, although somewhat understandable, is not their native language. The goal of Wycliffe Bible Translators is to see the communities of the world transformed by the Word of God in the language that speaks best to them.
