Suo is a language in the center east of Cameroon. They initially approached SIL in 2017, asking for help in developing their langauge. I was involved with several others in the initial workshops to help develop an alphabet which happened just before Covid. Later I was the primary linguist working on the project, with much of my focus being on the development of a dictionary and making changes to the alphabet as needed. In my dictionary work I used FLEx extensively. Currently there are translators working on Bible translation in Suo.
There is a draft version of the dictionary online at https://www.webonary.org/suo/. The descriptions and instructions are all in both French and English, although the dictionary itself is just Suo / French.

Note: because of changes in spelling decisions and writing in English and French, there have been other spellings of the language name - Sso, Suə, and Swo.
