The Bookhouse Hotel at Faunbrook in West Chester, PA is a boutique book-themed hotel and is perfect for writers, book lovers, and those on a journey inward. Each room is just as magical as the next, all lined with bookshelves, and beautiful book-themed touches throughout. With community space and outdoor space, retreatants will find inspiration at every turn.Take a look at the pictures linked above and you'll see what I mean. This hotel has 7 luxurious hotel rooms - some with queen beds, some with kings, and one suite with a king and a pull-out couch bed so you are welcome to book rooms with friends!

430pm-6pm: Yin Yoga while Journaling - all yoga props provided
630pm-730pm: Dinner
730pm-830pm: Illuminating Words- bring your own words or a favorite author's words to share by the fireplace and discuss the way words brighten our life
830pm-9pm: Breathe & Be -bedtime meditation with journaling prompts
9pm: Bedtime - you're invited to read or write all night long if you'd like in the book-lover's paradise

Book your room first at the above link so you know there is still space in the hotel for you. There are only 7 rooms so this will sell-out quickly!
After you book the hotel room, you are expected to pay the retreat fee below within 5 days. Once done, Katie will reach out to confirm and ask about dietary restrictions.
If you and a friend are sharing a hotel room, you are both expected to pay the retreat fee of $129.
This retreat fee covers dinner on Saturday night which will be catered by a local restaurant, breakfast pastries and fruit on Sunday, and all the activities within the agenda including yoga sessions and themed journaling activities.
I will be offering components of the overnight retreat in smaller experiences:
The chakra-balancing yin yoga and journaling workshop will be offered online as a 90-minute workshop
The Nature’s Poems activity will be offered as a 45-minute session in a local park
The morning and bedtime sessions for stretching, breathing, meditating, and journaling will be 30-minute offerings online
I will be grouping some activities for a 4-hour experience and I’m working on booking another one-night or possibly a full weekend retreat at the BookHouse Hotel again, likely in early October 2025. Message me if you’re interested, as I’m picking dates!
