Every summer, the Kankakee Municipal Band performs a series of free outdoor concerts. The band performs a wide variety of crowd pleasers including marches, Broadway show tunes, overtures and popular favorites.

Concerts are held on Thursday evenings starting at 7:00 pm in historic Bird Park along the Kankakee River.  The band performs at the Don Palzer Band Shell on the park's north side. 

Parking is free.  Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a relaxing evening of Music Under The Stars.
