Camping Rules

1. There will be separate primitive, modern tent, and RV camping areas. (Recreational Vehicles [RV] are towed camping trailers or motorized camping vehicles.) The space for RVs is limited.

2. The camping area nearest the firing range is reserved for primitive camps.

3. No parking in primitive area except to load and unload.

4. Modern tent camps should be set up from a line between the hooters, west towards the parking area. Primitive camps may also be set up in this area.

5. RVs may not cross the wooden bridge (Dicks Branch - see Map).

6. Vehicles and equipment exceeding 6000 pounds should not cross the wooden bridge.

7. See the Map for the location of the RV camping area.

8. Open fires and lit candles are allowed, but must be attended at all times. If you need to leave your open fire, ask someone to watch it until you return.

9. A two gallon or larger water container is required within 5 feet of your campfire at each camp site for fire dousing purposes.

10. Quiet hours will be each night from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

11. No dumping of camper holding tanks on the ground.

12. No littering. Please police your area before you leave and take your trash with you.

13. No pets allowed.

14. No radios or boom boxes!!

15. No cutting of trees or vegetation. Firewood will be available.

16. The firewood located on the JRBPC's leased property may only be used during the Family Frolic and the 'Bob Lee' Virginia State Offhand Championship.

17. Parents will be held responsible for the actions and safety of their children at ALL TIMES.
