We are going to do a floor plan for your kitchen
Using what you learnt in Task 1 and Task 2 produce a floor plan of your kitchen, show the positions of all doors and windows - create a layer to place the current units and appliances. When complete make this layer 'masked' to hide it and create a new layer on which you can try a new layout.
Make the scale so that the kitchen fits on a A4 sheet.
Print both layouts and send them to Martin
Best of Luck

Also - Check out the about point... Handy for when you want to move a line and have it snap to another line. I use it that often I've put in on my own customised tool bar.
To use it (if you want to move a line and snap end to end] Press 'E' to set end point snap on, touch the line you want to move to select it. Then use the move about point button and move the about point to (in this case) the end of the line. Now with end snap still set on, move the line by dragging the about point to the end of the line to want to snap to and hey presto...
See Customised toolbar on page 12 of 13 in Karl Boeing Basic AutoSketch Manual found (here). If you are creating a toolbar on a shared computer give it your name so everyone knows
If you want your individual lines to be a continuous line use trim join.
Why might you want your lines to be continuous? Normal CAD operatives don't bother about lines being continuous (polylines) but a CNC machine operator needs continuous lines (vectors) to in order to create tool paths.
Talk to Martin if the lines will not join, it will be because the ends are not touching
