RNDr. (= analogy of M.S.), 1982, Charles University, Prague, Faculty of Sciences. Thesis: Role of gonads, pinea, and light in hibernation of golden hamster. [in Czech].

CSc. (= Ph.D.), 1992, Institute of Physiology, Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences, Prague. Thesis: Muscarinic receptors in rat heart and other tissues studied in vitro with binding of radiolabelled antagonists: onthogenesis and interaction with myorelaxants. [in Czech].
