Physics Research Building #
Sheffield.45@osu.edu
Dayton, OH native. Graduated from undergrad with BSE in Engineering Physics from Case Western Reserve University. Joined the group in Summer of 2013. Work primarily focuses on studying the magnetic properties of thin film heterostructures using time-resolved optical techniques in the visible to near-infrared spectrum. Magnetic studies focusing on the response of magnetic metal, oxide, and insulating films as a function of temperature and applied field help us discover what materials will make the next best circuit component for the electronics of tomorrow.
Research Area:
Time-resolved optical studies of thin film magnetic heterostructures.
