Facilitate & Inspire Student Learning and Creativity
Effective teachers model and apply the ISTE Standards for Students (Standards•S) as they design, implement, and assess
learning experiences to engage students and improve learning; enrich professional practice; and provide positive models
for students, colleagues, and the community. All teachers should meet the following standards and performance indicators.
Teachers use their knowledge of subject matter, teaching and learning, and technology to facilitate experiences that advance student learning,
creativity, and innovation in both face-to-face and virtual environments.

Artifacts and Narrative:
i) One of the ways that I've tried to implement this standard is to model using digital resources. Below is a link to my Symbaloo (which is a social bookmarking site) that I made for the Math Department at BSM. In it are links to everything from our online books to useful tools we use everyday. ii) In my AP Calculus BC class we complete one project each quarter. Most of these students are seniors, and one of their projects is to research their first job's salary and create an entire budget for the year after college graduation. They may choose to present their research in an ibook format. They may choose to present their research in an ibook format.
