The American School of The Hague (ASH) is an international school located in Wassenaar, the Netherlands. ASH offers a varied, comprehensive educational program that challenges students to excel in their learning and grow as creative, committed people of character. In our safe and welcoming environment, we guide the learning of 1200+ students ranging in age between 3 to 18 years old and from 73 nationalities. The world is our classroom where we embrace everyone's voice, our unique differences, and celebrate our achievements and service to others. We offer an American diploma, the IB Diploma and are the only AP school in The Netherlands, offering 15 different certificate classes. I teach AP Calculus AB at ASH. We run this as a two year program with Precalculus the first year. Due to the size of the math department, I do not get to teach AP Calculus BC nor IB.

Shanghai American School (SAS) is China’s oldest and largest international school. We are one school on two campuses in the largest city in the world. We have nearly 3000 students in PreK through grade 12, and offer an American diploma, the IB Diploma, and in 2016 were one of only 100 schools worldwide to provide the AP Capstone program as part of our AP Diploma. I taught AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC. I was the only BC teacher, and two of us taught AB. Our BC students have NOT taken AB, and have the same amount of contact time as our AB students each year. My first year of teaching Calculus at SAS brought a large increase in pass rate of the BC students, which comprised of 2 sections (30-40 students). Usually we have 3 AB classes each year (45 -60 students).

Benilde – St. Margaret’s (BSM) is the premier Catholic college preparatory school in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis & St. Paul, Minnesota with an enrollment of approximately 1200 students in grades 7 – 12. We partner with our students to help them reach their highest potential in body, spirit and mind. I taught AP Calculus AB at BSM during 2003-2015 (with another teacher). In 2008 I implemented the AP Calculus BC class and taught both classes until I moved to China. BSM usually has 4 or 5 sections (100 -140 students) of AB and 1 or 2 sections (9 – 35 students) of BC.
