The third year in STEM is focused on leadership, entrepreneural qualities, and networking. To introduce us into this course, our teacher had us reflect on past projects where we had to step up as the group leader. In groups, we discussed what we each looked for in a leader and what the top expressed qualities of a leader should be.
Next, as a class, we narrowed down the top qualities of an effective leader and how a successful leader expresses the.
Lastly, we researched a historical figure or modern day leader who expressed these qualities. Once we made our choice and gathered our research, we were given the task to present the information in a clear and concise manor. This is the first presentation of the year that was critically analyzed by our teacher and were given constructive criticism on our presentation techniques.
