Janet travels the world covering the top design shows in Milan, London, Frankfurt, Valencia, New York and Miami, and interviewing the most famous architects, interior designers and product designers. She wore a hard hat to see Frank Gehry's Disney Concert Hall under construction. She flew to Rio to interview architect Oscar Niemeyer who designed Brasilia. In the private sphere, she sees that parents with contemporary tastes want the same look in their children's rooms and some parents are paying $100,000 for elaborate playhouses.
