Dear Father & Mother
Pedro came out on the Monday night. Will you go
to Mr Scott's and get Jamsie's boots if they are finished and send them
out as quick as possible for he is quite barefooted. And also send his best
shirt and scarf and a piece of writing paper and an envelope.
We will not be home till we finish here. If you could send a few
shillings out to us it would be very convenient for it is a long way to
come home and then come back again.
When you are sending the boots and things direct them to the Post Office
Redbank care of Mr Murphy.
We have a job to get meat now as our flock has decamped to another
hill. I have no more to say at present so I must conclude sending
our best love to you all I remain
Your Affectionate Son Arch McVicar
