Office Availability

Itasca County DFL Headquarters and Wellstone Resource Center has scheduled open hours and can be reserved for use by groups; charge is negotiable. The facility includes a kitchenette, tables & chairs for approximately 30 people, computers/printer-copier, TV, and restrooms.  Books and CDs may be borrowed.

Monthly Activities To Engage With DFLers

Pizza Social at Noon Every First Wednesday at DFL Headquarters.  No Charge.  A Volunteer Brings the Pizza for 10 -16 people (sign-up) and Others Donate to Cover Expense.

Food Bank Crew at 1:30 Every Second Wednesday at Second Harvest North Central Food Bank 2222 Cromell Drive Grand Rapids, MN.  We need 5-15 workers from 1:30-3:30 to pm. 

Quarterly Potluck Supper at 5:30 pm on a Third Wednesday  TBA

Usually at DFLHeadquarters. Bring a dish to share. Everything else provided, including microwave, frig/freezer, dishes.

Adopt-A-Highway in Spring and Fall

This litter pick-up project is 5.3 miles south of Grand Rapids at the intersection of Hwy 169 and County Road 17.  Our sign reads, “Itasca County Democrats”.

Itasca County Fair Spans 3rd Weekend in August

The booth is located in the Commercial Building near the side door.  At least two people are needed to staff it per shift. Guest DFL officials have been invited; parking tickets will be provided.

Stuff the Bus: Collecting in July and August

Itasca DFL Headquartes is a drop off location for United Way 1000 Lakes' project "to equip local students with the materials and confidence they need to get a strong start in school. When you host a drive or donate supplies, you help students across our community access the tools needed to stay on track to graduation."
