Senate District 7 includes portions of Aitkin, Itasca, and St. Louis counties in northern Minnesota.

DFL offices in Grand Rapids and Hibbing are utilized. Both are stocked with campaign supplies.

Itasca DFL office is open Tuesdays and Thursday, 2-5 pm at 809 NE 4th Street, Grand Rapids, MN.

St. Louis 07 DFL office is temporarily closed.

OUR PURPOSE

We are an endorsing unit (vs an organizing unit) with the sole purpose to recruit and elect Democratic candidates for Minnesota Senate District 7, Minnesota House District 7A, and Minnesota House District 7B.

We aim to succeed by strenghtening and uniting the three organizing units in our district.

OUR LEADERSHIP

SD7's Central Committee consists of the Executive Committee plus all precinct chairs.

The Central Committee meets as called, plus has set dates of the required four meetings per year: August 14 , 2025, November 13, 2025, February 12, 2026, and May 14, 2026.

OUR NETWORKING

The distance between Morrison Township in Aitkin County along the southwest border of SD7, to Embarrass up by the northeast border, is 123 miles, and takes 2 hours and 15 miles to drive in good weather, and without any road construction. We offer remote participation options for our meetings. We maintain an email list for updates and reminders. We utilize facebook; and we email a monthly newsletter. JOIN US!
