Advanced Sensors Interfaces and Circuits (ASIC)
The Advanced Sensor Interfaces and Circuits (ASIC) group, is focused on developing state-of-the-art architectures, circuits, and signal processing algorithms for interfacing a variety of sensors produced in-house. The group targets the achievement of prototypes with high Technology Readiness Levels (TRL 5-6) for a variety of applications from Biomedical, food safety, and industrial quality assessment.
Presently most of the work is towards the development of platforms for bacteria and cancer detection, while a new research line for biomimetic tactile sensing is also being developed.
