Indian Paradise is a concept of indian specialities Home Made, authentic, tasty and economic.
The dishes are home-made and cooked with fresh locally grown products in Villeneuve; indian vegetables too, chemical free, without colouring nor additifs.

The restaurant is built in a Swiss Old Cellar and transformed in a nice little dining room. Terrace outside when weather is good (maximum 9 seats).
Taste original indian food from Punjab and ayurvedic recepies... in a wonderful surrounding.

Choices: khadi, sabgi, daal, chicken curry, lamb curry (swiss quality lamb and swiss quality chicken), tandooris, masalas...
Specially for you, many of our dishes are cooked gluten-free and lactose-free, vegetarian and vegan. Information with regards to intolerance or allergies can be given upon request.

The attention I lavish on the food I prepare is out of this world, starts from soul aspiration, planning, cultivating, having, shopping, selecting, grinding, chopping, sauté, boil and imbibing that rhythm of food preparation to finish as a special dish made for my guest. Only when you gain a real feel for food, you can know what cuisine really means.

« We are what we eat » Not only the taste of food is important but also the effect on our health. therefore specific attention to each and every selected ingredient, the way they are cultivated and cooked for you is given.
You can choose to eat vegetarian, mixt or only meat. Complete the curries with "Finger Food", snacks, naans, etc. or eat them alone.
Curries vegetarian or meat, basmati rice, pakora, samosas, chapati, naan, tandoori, masalas, pickles and chutneys.
Drinks: lassis, teas, masala chaï etc.

Mahatma Gandhi @ Villeneuve Exposition
To honor The Mahatma's visit at Villeneuve in December 1931 a small exposition can be seen at Indian Paradise. He stayed at French Philosopher Romain Rolland's villa Lionnette, find out what he said about Villeneuve, who he met, and what he did during his visit to Switzerland. @ 150th ANNIVERSARY
of the Mahtma Gandhi, Indian Embassador Sibi George, Laurent Wehrli and Mrs Corinne Ingold both majors of Montreux and Villeneuve, visited Indian Paradise and the exposition. I was so honored by their visit...... and so happy about the memorial of Gandhi and Gandhi Square celebrated at Villeneuve 14 september 2019 in presence of the President of India Ram Nath Kovind.

Villeneuve is the village that hosted Mahatma Gandhi (Father of India in 1931.
Gandhi Square is at CGN Boat and 100 m from the train station CFF.
