To my fellow "Indians",

I want to thank everyone who attended our "Meet & Greet"....and look forward to our next event! I know with the positive feedback received we will have even more alumni attend the next one! Be sure to check out the Coastal Point newspaper next week for our picture. Thank you also for the support in our first fundraiser...the Harvest Bounty Basket! It was a big success thanks to our co-chairs, Marla Daisey & Cindy Gallimore! Please remember to thank the local business contributors for their support! They are important to us!

Our next fundraiser / meeting will be at PIZZELLI's Restaurant in Selbyville! This is a great way YOU can support us if you are unable to donate your time to attend our meetings! Just come out to PIZZELLI's on Monday, 11/26 and purchase lunch or dinner! Dine-in or Carry-out...11am-10pm....they will donate 20% of your bill to IRHS ALUMNI! Be sure to mention that you are there to support us....or take the attached voucher! Please pass these vouchers out to your family & friends! We will have a short/informal meeting around 6pm & hope to see you! (Be sure to try their famous CHEESECAKE!) PLEASE SUPPORT US THAT DAY!!!

We are excited about our new "Mascot/Logo Contest" to challenge ALL current IR students to design an Indian Chief logo that will be specific to the IRHS Alumni organization. Deadline is 12/21 and applications are available in the school office. The new logo will be used on our IRHS license plates and the winning student will be awarded a FREE license tag upon graduation. These new tags will be available to all IRHS Alumni in the spring of 2013.

Our next "regular" meeting will be on Monday, January 14th at 6pm. This will be held in the school library. We have many important items to address for the rest of the year so please plan to attend if possible.

Congrats to the IRHS Class of '92 which held their 20 Year Reunion tonight in Ocean City! I hope it was an enjoyable event and hope for some great pictures for our Facebook page!

Also, BIG CONGRATULATIONS to our IR Football team and IR Boys Soccer team for their wins this week! They are getting us one step closer to State Championships! Good luck to both teams!!!
