Impact Factor gives researchers a quantitative measure of journals' influence and impact. We strive to maintain quality of our articles and reject poor articles, in order to meet criteria for SCI indexing and Thomson Reuters.

Google Scholar tracks a large amount of cited papers published in IJCSIS. Google Journal ranking using Google’s h5-index (the h-index for articles published in that journal in the last 5 complete years; it is the largest number h such that h articles published in 2008-2012 have at least h citations each).

What is an Impact Factor?

Impact Factor is calculated by Thomson Reuter, (http://thomsonreuters.com/) for the journals covered or indexed in their “Science Citation Index (SCI)”. It is calculated as follows:

Impact Factor (calculated in 2018) = A / B

A = Total citations in 2017 of all the articles that were published in Year 2016 and 2015

B = Total articles published in Year 2016 and 2015
