Megan Tomko

Megan Tomko is a PhD Candidate at Georgia Institute of Technology pursuing her degree in Mechanical Engineering. She graduated with a Bachelor in Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh in April 2014 and began graduate school in August 2014 under the direction of Dr. Linsey in the I-DREEM Lab. During her undergraduate at Pitt, she worked as a Field Telecommunication Intern for three consecutive summers with EQT, a highly ranked natural gas company headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA.

Megan previously worked on the Design Analogy Performance Parameter System (DAPPS) project, the functional modeling project, and the Makerspace project. Her current work focuses on looking at learning in makerspaces.
