There is a coffee machine in the kitchen on the 11th floor (room 1103, next to the visitor's office and opposite the administrative front office). Instant coffee, green tea bags, and sugar are provided free of charge. There is a hot water machine provided on each floor with buttons denoting the temperature of filtered water to be dispensed (red = hot/boiling, white = room temperature, blue = cold); note that there's a safety mechanism for hot water dispensing (press the small silver button with a padlock icon before pressing the red button). So you can get a cup of coffee for on 10 NT, and browse the daily English language newspaper to keep up to date with all the goings on in Taiwan.
Several meeting rooms are available for reservation: R1003, R1021, R1101, R1203, R1412, R1412s, and B124.
Rooms can be reserved through the IAA calendar—just invite the room when creating your event. An ASIAA email account is required to make a reservation. You may want to check this link for details if you have an ASIAA account that you will get after you arrive.
You can check the meeting room schedules using this link, but you’ll need an ASIAA account and VPN access.
If you’re not happy with your office, don’t worry. About every six months or a year, the front office sends out an email listing available office spaces. You can sign up and rank your preferences, and offices are assigned based on seniority.
