Mt. Shosha + Tea Ceremony

Today the ambassadors all went to Mt. Shosha(pics uploaded under "photo gallery" page)! It was incredibly beautiful and had mini shrines all over the place for various gods and goddesses. It was lightly raining when we were there, but overall very nice. Afterwards, we went across the street and had lunch (4th pic on the "Food!" page) and other than miso soup, had never really ate any of that food before. All of it was pretty delicious, but the Chawanmushi was different. It tasted like egg drop soup(which I love) but in custard form? It was a very very weird texture but still tasted good. After lunch we got to experience a traditional tea ceremony(11th pic in "Photo Gallery"). It was all very beautiful and the sweets (under "Food!") were super delicious. Afterwards, they taught us how to perform a tea ceremony and encouraged us to do it at our homes in phoenix!
