Although I haven't read these books yet, Technically Wrong, by Sara Wachter-Boettcher, and Weapons of Math Destruction, by Cathy O'Neil, appear to cover some of the issues we are raising in this paper (although they are intended for the general public). Since there are already some good sources describing the problem of algorithmic bias, perhaps we should focus primarily on recommendations.
