Hello!

My name is Marissa, and I'm currently a copywriter at Angel Publishing. 

My Role: Since joining Angel Publishing in October 2020, I've had the opportunity to craft a variety of financial copy, working closely with a senior copywriter.

My work includes various promotions, YouTube scripts, renewal emails, pay-per-click advertisements, landing pages, ICYMIs (In Case You Missed It), lift letters, text advertisements, follow-up pages, and lifetime upsells.

Education: I hold an MFA in Creative Writing and Publishing Arts from the University of Baltimore (2020) and a BA in English with a Creating Writing Concentration, Geology Minor, and Leadership Certificate from Marietta College (2017).

I also earned a certificate from the University of Denver's Publishing Institute program in August 2019.

My Passion: Writing has always been my passion, whether professionally or as a creative outlet. My specialty is short fiction, but I enjoy experimenting with different genres. While my ultimate dream is to become a well-known author, I'm also dedicated to growing my career in publishing. I will always be a creative writer, whether that's professionally or as a hobby.
