Microsoft provides 15 GB of email storage space for each email account on Hotmail/Live/outlook. However, if you are a paid user, you will get 50 GB of space for each account. If you are a free user and don't want to pay for extra space, but your storage limit is reached its maximum extent, here are few hacks that let you fix storage limit issues in Hotmail.
Consider How Much Storage Space You Have Used:
Step 1: Go to settings from the gear icon located top right corner of the page.
Step 2: Scroll down and click on View full settings.
Step 3: Go to the general tab from the left pane and choose the storage option.
It will show you how much space you have used until now.
Free Up Your Storage:
You can free up storage in different ways. Some of them are here:
1. Remove Junk Emails
Step 1: Open outlook.com and click on the left pane.
Step 2: Scroll down and find the Junk mail folder. Click on it to open.
Step 3: From the top, press the delete button or click delete all from the top of the page.
Step 4: To delete an individual payment, right-click on the message and select delete from the drop-down menu.
2. Delete Unwanted Emails In Inbox
Step 1: Open inbox from the left pane.
Step 2: Now, choose the message you want to remove/sweep and choose Sweep.
In this way, all your unwanted emails remove from the inbox or archived folder. It also removes all the emails from send, starred, and other folders. Follow the habit of deleting inbox messages older than 10 days to keep the vacant space in your account.
3. Save Attachments To OneDrive:
Step 1: Open outlook inbox, click on the filter, and sort by in the drop-down. Next, click on Size to put the largest email on the top.
Step 2: Now, choose an email that contains attachments you want to upload on OneDrive.
Step 3: Click on save to OneDrive from the attachment.
