Skills Learned at Preschool

On top of the curriculum that I have created over the course of 10 years, I have also recently added the Preschool Palace Curriculum to our daily routine. Throughout the school year, Sept - June, we are focusing on letter recognition and phonics, number recognition and early math concepts, shapes, and colors. We are also working on social and emotional development, physical development, cognitive development, and language development.

Our morning preschool program runs from 9am - 12pm with the option of an extended day for our lunch bunch group - 9am - 1pm. During this time frame, your child will be participating in circle time, story time, arts & crafts, structured play, and outside fun. Most Preschoolers are only able to handle a short period of time of circle time. That is why the rest of the curriculum revolves around other activities that can be including during other times of the day. Overall, each day strives to promote each child's cognitive, social, gross motor, fine motor, and other kindergarten readiness skills.
