Honey Bee Preschool will be Closed during December Holiday Break, February Winter Break,
and April Spring Break, following the Seekonk School schedule. You can find specific dates
here - http://www.seekonk.k12.ma.us/calendar
* If a holiday falls on a Saturday, Preschool will be closed the Friday before. If the
holiday falls on a Sunday, Preschool will be closed the Monday after. Full tuition is due in the
weeks for which these fall. If your child is enrolled part-time, and a holiday falls on the day your
child is scheduled to attend, you are not permitted to substitute another day of care. This is due
to ratios of other part-time children.
Paid Vacations:
During the year, I allow myself one paid week off for vacation. The dates of my vacation will be
posted at least one month in advance.
Paid Sick / Personal / Professional Development Days:
As strong as my immune system has become over the years, I unfortunately still get sick from
time to time. Because of this, I allow myself seven paid sick/personal days per year. Of course,
I will give you as much of an advance notice as possible.
Snow Days:
For your safety and the safety of your children, Honey Bee Preschool will be closed on the days
the Seekonk school district is closed due to inclement weather. If the Seekonk school district
announces a delayed start time, Honey Bee Preschool will also be delayed. In the case of
delayed start times, there will be no morning preschool. You can find this information on any of
the local news channels and their websites. I like to refer to TurnTo10.com. Please understand
that this decision has been made with your best interest in mind. Full tuition is due regardless of
school closing or holiday.
* Parents are responsible for finding back-up care for their children during my vacations,
holidays, and sick/personal days, resulting in the Preschool closing.
