Freezer Meals

Making meals ahead and storing them in the freezer is a great way to have great nutritious meals on hand. It is easy to use and rotate the foods in your food storage by planning a food preparation day where you make several freezer meals. There is a time investment for the first few months because you need to plan out your grocery list and production schedule. But after a few short months, you will become so efficient that you will amaze yourself and your friends! Check out the slide presentation and companion documents below for a few tips to get you started.

Utah State University Extension has created a great scientific based guideline for freezer meal safety. See Freezer Meals - USU Guidelines for more information.
