After British tanks went into action in September, 1916, the German Army immediately demanded their own landships.
It was powered by two Daimler engines and the tank was first demonstrated in 1917.
100 of these tanks were ordered and the first of these were ready in October 1917.
Although some of it's feature made it better than the British tanks, it was unsuccessful as a vehicle.
