All in all, pretty good practice. The snake activity seemed to be a little crazy and not productive. I think most were having fun though.
Practice Plan 02
:00 - :05 ICE BREAKER - Name and Favorite thing to eat
:05 - :10 NUMBERS GAME: Have players move around a 20 x 20 yard grid (skipping, jogging, side-shuffling, etc.). Call out a number and the players need to group together in that number.
:10 - :13 BOUNDARIES - Inbounds/Out of bounds:
:13 - :14 Safety Tips: Know our body, kicking, goal posts
:14 - :19 Dribbling - Step-On Bells, toe taps, verbal Cue
:19 - :25 Dribbling - Attacking: Use 4 cones to create a 20 x 10 yard grid. Each player has their own ball. Players dribble down the 10 yd length of the field using all parts of their right foot and making short touches. Turn and come back.
:25 - :30 Numbers Game - Soccer , players are split into two teams and line up beside each goal. The coach rolls the ball into play and calls out the number of players “1”, “2”, “3”, or “4”. Those players play, trying to score on the opposing goal.
