Felix Töpfer
Felix Töpfer is a PhD student in the lab. He obtained his diploma in biochemistry, neurobiology and niophysics in 2015 at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. After working on human neuronal stem cells at the Bambergs Lab at the Max-Planck-Institute for Biophysics in Frankfurt am Main (diploma thesis, research assistant), he applied for a PhD position in the Excellence Cluster NeuroCure at Charité Berlin. Following his long standing interest in psychology he switched his focus in research at 2016 and left the field of cellular neuroscience to start a PhD in cognitive neuroscience in the Haynes Lab. Currently he is working on feature-continuous perceptual decisions using a combination of psychophysics, neuroimaging and computational modeling. Felix is member of the Graduate School of Medical Neuroscience since 2017.
