Sandra Proelss

Sandra Proelss is a PhD student in the lab. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London and her Master’s degree in Neuroscience from King’s College London. Before joining the group, she worked within the public health sector, research and academic publishing. In collaboration with the Neurosurgical Department of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and with supervision from Prof. John-Dylan Haynes and Prof. Michael Brecht, she is investigating neurocognitive function and cortical physiology using direct electrical stimulation (DES) in neurosurgical patients undergoing awake craniotomy.
