The top class will recieve the coveted Readathon trophy and have their class name added to the Readathon Plaque in the library! Readers may also get lucky with a visit from Franny the comfort Dog and Officer Tim.

Our Vision

The Harvard PTO’s vision is a vibrant and inclusive community of parents, guardians, teachers and staff dedicated to supporting and enriching education for students within the Harvard Public School system.

Our Mission

Our mission is to connect parents, guardians, teachers and staff in a meaningful way in order to enrich the educational experience of students through:

Funding: raising and providing funding for educational experiences and tools to supplement budgeted curriculum and programs
Service: seeking opportunities to support teachers and staff in their work inside and outside of the classroom
Community building: connecting our members and the school community on topics of interest and importance

When you join the Harvard Schools PTO, you can:

Have a real impact on the education of students in Harvard Public Schools by funding educational experiences, supporting teachers and staff in their work, and connecting with the community.
Choose what you give. Your tax-deductible membership donation, ideas, talents, leadership, time and support are all valuable - and it’s completely up to you to decide how you want to participate. (Donations are not required for membership and nor is volunteering!)
Connect with parents, guardians, teachers, and staff and always stay in the loop on what’s going on.
