Have a great summer & see you in the fall!

End of the Year Event

Almost 300 students and guardians joined us this year at the End of the Year Event!  The rain couldn't stop us as we celebrated the end of the school year with a day of family and friends at Kimball Farm in Westford!  Wishing everyone a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing you all in the fall!

End of Year Member Meeting

Thanks to those of you who joined us for our member meeting on June 13th. We are delighted to share that the 2024/25 proposed budget has passed and that the 2024/25 board has been put in place.  Check out the meeting minutes here. Have a great summer and we'll see you next year!!

Spring Soiree

Many thanks to all of you who joined us at the soiree for a night of fundraising and fun.

We exceeded our fundraising goals and had a great time thanks to all of you who bid on silent auction items, bought raffles tickets, and danced the evening away to the music of the amazing band, Wednesday Night Project, and fabulous DJ, Liz Ladoux.

The planning for Spring 2025 is underway!

Solar Eclipse Glasses Grant

The PTO was excited to provide 1300 pairs of solar eclipse glasses (purchased from the American Astronomical Society’s list of safe viewers) for a full district viewing of the April 8th solar eclipse.

Thanks to some great weather, students were able to view a 93.7% solar eclipse from the school grounds and experience this amazing astronomical event as a community. (Click here to learn more about the eclipse)

Readathon

The fourth annual 2024 HES PTO Readathon was held over February Vacation to engage students, support their love of reading and to optionally raise funds for the schools.  This Readathon was record-breaking, with 135 readers logging 73,012 minutes! Congratulations to all of our amazing readers! Everyone who participated will receive certificates, bookmarks and PAWSOME HES Readathon water bottle stickers.  Great job readers!

Our Vision

The Harvard PTO’s vision is a vibrant and inclusive community of parents, guardians, teachers and staff dedicated to supporting and enriching education for students within the Harvard Public School system.

Our Mission

Our mission is to connect parents, guardians, teachers and staff in a meaningful way in order to enrich the educational experience of students through:

Become a Member for the 2023-24 School Year

When you join the Harvard Schools PTO, you can:

  • Have a real impact on the education of students in Harvard Public Schools by funding educational experiences, supporting teachers and staff in their work, and connecting with the community.
  • Choose what you give. Your tax-deductible membership donation, ideas, talents, leadership, time and support are all valuable - and it’s completely up to you to decide how you want to participate. (Donations are not required for membership and nor is volunteering!)
  • Connect with parents, guardians, teachers, and staff and always stay in the loop on what’s going on.

Thank you for your support!

Make a Donation

You don't have to be a member to help us reach our fundraising goals.  For those in the community who are not Harvard Public School staff members, parents or guardians, we would still love your support! Thank you for considering supporting the Harvard PTO's mission through a monetary donation. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and contributions are tax deductible.

We are grateful to the generous companies who were our Business Partners for the 2022-2023 school year.
