I usually do lower intensity walking, but read that high intensity interval training is the best, especially as we age. So I started looking for easy ways to incorporate them. There are a lot of thoughts about how long to do the intense/rest period, etc. I haven't tried them yet (1/31/18) but am collecting these from YouTube for beginners. I'm really not doing this yet...April 2018
5 minute workout (that's my style)
30 second exercise followed by a 30 second rest period. 5 minutes total. Repeat the circuit for an added challenge!

Alternating jumping lunges (too hard for me)

Jump squat to burpee
Front to back jumping squats (too hard for me)
10 minute workout for moms
Another 10 minute workout you can do with kids
Another 10 min workout (30 on, 30 off, has pushups)
15 minute body fat shredding no equipment
15 minute workout (20 sec on, 10 sec rest)
15 minute HIIT gentle on knees, some weights (20 sec on, 10 sec off)
20 minute workout (30 sec on, 20 sec off)
25 minute workout for people who get bored easily
5 minute cool down and stretch
